Reception Office Hours:

Monday – Saturday 7:30am – 10:00pm.
Sunday – 8:00am – 9:00pm

On Arrival: 

Complementary amounts of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk are provided on your first night.  Milk can be purchased from reception for $1.00 per carton.

Newspapers: 

Complementary newspapers can be ordered at reception the night before.

Departures: 

Checkout time is 10:00am.  Guests leaving before 7:30am Mon to Sat or 8:00am Sun are requested to settle their account the night before.  If leaving early, please leave your key inside your unit ad pull the door closed.  Please be considerate of new arrivals by adhering to the check out time. If you wish to extend your stay, please notify management as soon as possible. Late checkout arrangements can be made subject to availability. Extra charges may apply.

Parking: 

Parking in the complex is for motel guests only.  There is one car park per unit.  Visitors are requested to park on the roadside.  Please note that entrance can be obtained via Lake Terrace or Pataka Road.  We ask that you park your car in the allocated car park.

Spa Baths: 

Please enjoy your spa bath. For Bubbles, press the switch on the rim of the bath. Pushing the button a second time will stop the jets.  Please note that jets on the spa’s turn off automatically at 10:30pm until 8:00amthe next morning.  Please ensure you have the fan turned on while using the spa to avoid condensation build up.

Breakfast: 

Menu can be found at the back of this folder or on the kitchenette wall in your unit .  If you would like to place an order, please contact reception by 8:30pm the night before.  Charges will be added to your account.  Continental breakfasts can be delivered to your unit the night before for you to eat at your leisure.  Request this option if you wish when ordering.

Daily Service: 

Your room will be serviced daily between 10:00am and2:00pm.  Please let us know if you do not wish to have your room serviced.  If the staff can not access your room for servicing between these hours please call into reception to collect clean towels.  Or call reception for fresh towels to be delivered to your room.

Keys: 

To activate the lights in your unit, your key tag needs to be put into the power slot next to your entrance door.  Please remember to leave your key at reception when checking out or if you are leaving earlier please leave key inside the unit and pull the door closed.

Lost Keys: 

If you lose or misplace your key please notify reception for a spare.  If the key can not be found prior to departure a charge for replacement of no less than $20.00 will be incurred.

Cooking & Food Preparation:

To avoid residual and lingering food odors’ that may be offensive to subsequent guests, the cooking of odorous foods such as shell fish, curry etc are not permitted in your unit.  Please leave cooking utensils/facilities clean when vacating.

Pool/Beach Towels: 

For lake swimming, swimming pool or  hot pools we have towels available at reception or in the pool area. Please do not use the white towels from your unit.

Hairdryer: 

A hairdryer is provided in all units.  This can be found on the wall in the bathroom.  Please contact reception if this is not working so that we can replace it immediately.

Iron & Ironing Board: 

You will find an iron and ironing board in your wardrobe.

Wake up Calls: 

Contact reception the day before if you would like to have a wake up call arranged the next morning.

Air Conditioning: 

All units are centrally air conditioned and set on a predetermined temperature – a remote control is available in your unit should you wish to alter the setting.  Press the “on” button and set your desired temperature.  Please, if you have Children, we ask that you do not let them play with remote controls.  Damage to these controls will result in a charge to you for replacement.

Laundry:

Please arrange with reception.  All washing is washed, dried and delivered to your room.  $10.00 per load.


Barbeque:

There is a barbeque available for guest use.  Please enquire at reception.

Internet: 

The internet is on dial up.  Please place a “1” in front of the dial up number provided by your internet service provider.

Wireless: 

User names and Passwords are readily available from reception.  Charges are $5.00  per 50MB or $10.00 per 100MB.

TV’s:

We ask that you do not remove the TV’s from the wall and brackets.  Damage to these items will result in a costly charge to yourself to replace them.

We have SKY TV & Freeview available, to change between Digital TV and Analogue TV, press the “TV” button at the top of your remote control.

Please enquire at reception for ideas.  Staff at reception can book all your excursions also.

Visitors: 

Guests are responsible for the noise in their units.  Your visitors are welcome, but need to vacate the motel premises by 10pm.  We trust that you will be considerate of others staying at Baywater Motor Inn.

Pets: 

To conform to health requirements, pets are not permitted in units with the exception of Guide Dogs.

Damages: 

Guests will be responsible for any damages to the room, furnishings or fixtures.  If there are any spills onto the carpet please  report this to reception immediately.  This also applies to glass or dinnerware.

Lost & Found: 

Any property found will be held for one month.  We recommend you check your unit thoroughly prior to departing.  If you have left items in your unit we require you to send a pre-paid self addressed envelope/courier bag to:

Security: 

All units are self locking.  Please ensure that you lock all doors and windows in your unit and lock your vehicle when not in use.  We are unable to accept responsibility for theft or damage to any personal belonging, motor vehicle or their content.  Sliding doors have a lock and bolt on the inside.  Make sure that all valuables are out of sight and doors are locked at night.

Smoke Free: 

All our units are SMOKEFREE.  There are ashtrays located on your balcony for your use.  Please smoke outside with the doors closed.  A charge of $100.00 – $250.00 will occur if smoke is detected in the unit, as we are required to return the unit back to it’s non smoking status.

DVD: 

A DVD Player is available for hire from the reception for use in your room.  Subject to availability

Cot/High Chair:  

Ask at reception is you require these items.  Nightly hire charge applies.  Subject to availability
